TOLEDO BEND — Two East Texas fishermen say a latest regular evening of bow fishing was an epic journey.
Craig Peace of Deadwood, Texas, and Jesse Fuller of Heart, Texas, have been on the north finish of Toledo Bend Reservoir once they got here throughout the catch of a lifetime. They spent hours on the water hoping to land one of many monsters and simply so occurred to be in the proper place on the proper time.
Their catch of a 276.1 pound alligator gar is a brand new Toledo Bend report, the lads say. It measured 7 toes, 8 inches lengthy and is 48 inches in girth.
The earlier report, in line with the Texas Parks & Wildlife All Deal with Data for Toledo Bend, was 260 kilos recorded in 2017.
