Rescue crews assist horse out of pool

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Williamson County Rescue Squad labored to assist a horse get out of a pool Thursday afternoon.

The Tennessee Equine Hospital and Williamson County Animal Management responded to requires help after Tonto the horse refused to come back out of his proprietor’s pool.

WCS officers stated Tonto wished to remain within the pool, making it tough for rescuers to get him up the steps. His proprietor, responders, and a physician from the TEH gently persuaded him to go up the steps.

Crews used rubber airbags and wood cribbing to assist Tonta acquire traction to climb up the pool steps. When he reached the highest, groups positioned an intensive diameter hose line across the again of Tonto to assist him up.

Tonto was efficiently saved from the pool and solely sustained minor accidents.
