Pentagon rejects D.C. mayor’s request for Nationwide Guard to assist with bused migrants

Protection Secretary Lloyd Austin has rejected a request from the District of Columbia mayor for the Nationwide Guard to assist obtain migrants bused to Washington, D.C., after figuring out it might harm troop readiness.
