Lizzo modified ‘Grrrls’ lyric after backlash

“It has been delivered to my consideration that there’s a dangerous phrase in my new track “GRRRLS,” the singer wrote in an announcement posted on her verified Instagram account on Monday.

The track contained the phrase “spaz,” which drew complaints that it’s a slur towards those that are disabled.
