I-70 reopens after dump truck strikes signal previous James Avenue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Interstate 70 eastbound reopened round 8:34 a.m. Wednesday morning after closing earlier within the morning previous James Avenue in Kansas Metropolis, Kansas.

The interstate was closed after a dump truck struck an indication, in accordance with Kansas Freeway Patrol.

Crews had been on scene to clear the truck and signal from the scene.

There have been no accidents within the crash.

KHP initially stated the freeway was anticipated to be closed till 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday.
