GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) — A 250-pound black bear was killed on the interstate early Wednesday morning, June 22.
It occurred round 1 a.m. close to the Hale Interchange and 92nd Road, not removed from the place deputies confirmed a black bear was noticed Tuesday.
In keeping with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Workplace, the bear was struck and killed by a truck in lane one from the North to the East within the Hale Interchange.
The lane was closed for about an hour whereas the bear was eliminated, and the DNR was notified.
No individuals have been injured within the crash.
It isn’t clear if the bear killed is similar bear because the one noticed in Franklin Tuesday.
