KANSAS CITY, Ks. (KCTV) – Sixteen rescued canine are recovering at KCK Animal Companies. Rescuers say the canine have been free of horrific situations after they have been left to reside alone within the woods.

KCK Animal Companies Director Ashley Scott says the canine are adjusting extremely properly and can quickly be out there for adoption.

“All these guys have been on heavy thick chains,” Scott mentioned. “They do have wounds from these heavy chains and collars as a result of they have been on so tight.”
